Are you taking part?

4 ways that 2020 members can help:

  • If you have a sign written vehicle (no larger than the approx. size of a transit style van), you could participate in the Parade for just £25 and promote your business to several thousand people who are expected to line the parade route. Over and above that we would ask that you consider having someone on either side of the vehicle handing out mini-sweets to all the children lining the route. This is one of the ideas the Mayor saw in Mansfield Pennsylvania and which inspired her to do something similar in our Mansfield. The sort of sweets that many people give on Halloween night.

  • 40 spaces, approx. 3m x 3m, have been allocated on the sportsground adjacent to the Civic Centre for community groups and commercial companies to showcase themselves. At a cost of just £25 it’s a great opportunity for a business to show their support for our community. A simple gazebo or mini-marquee would create a super display opportunity.

  • On the same day and within the Civic Quarter situated inside the Civic Centre, the Mayor is holding her second Charity Lunch. Tickets are £25 per person which includes a 4-course summer lunch comprising of a cold meat buffet style meal and a donation to the Mayors charity fund. Cheques will be presented to local organisations during the lunch. Might your business consider buying a table of 10? Or perhaps individual tickets?

  • Finally, if none of these three options works for you then please do consider making a donation of £25 to the Mayors Community Parade & Family Fun Day

You are invited to book your place in the parade, have a stall at the festival following the parade, book places at the Charity Lunch or make a donation by booking now via this link https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/mayors-community-parade-tickets-41642926113
