Louise is qualified to Master’s Level in corporate communication; prior to working in further education Louise was a journalist, working on a range of local and regional titles.

Ian is a local businessman and until recently he was the Director of Operations at Jephsons Shopfitters.
Ian expanded the local business after taking over from his parents 20 years ago. Jephsons are well known for their shop-fitting expertise in national fast food chains such as Costa Coffee and KFC.
Ian has now handed the reigns to the existing employees following the development of an Employee Ownership Trust. Ian is very passionate about the regeneration of our area.

Matthew Relf is an Independent Councillor at Ashfield District Council.
His work there was instrumental in securing the recent government investment which will see significant development in the Ashfield area.

Hayley is the owner of Wood’s of Westgate, a beauty salon based in Westgate, Mansfield. Hayley is also a university lecturer and was previously a governor at a local university technical college focussed on manufacturing. Hayley has a passion for sustainability and believes all businesses should strive to do less harm. She successfully lobbied MDC last year to help with small business recycling collection in the town centre.
