Mansfield District Leisure Trust (MDLT) has announced the reopening plans for its centres in the region, following the announcement that indoor sports/fitness facilities could reopen from July 25th.

MDLT’s centres, like all leisure facilities in the UK ,were forced to close on March 20th, following government instructions linked to the coronavirus.

Along with managing agent, Serco Leisure, MDLT operates four centres across the region on behalf of Mansfield District Council – Oak Tree Leisure Centre, River Maun Recreation Centre, Water Meadows Fitness and Swimming Complex, and the Rebecca Adlington Swimming Centre.

Contract manager for MDLT Andrew Smith explained: “We’re delighted to be reopening Water Meadows on the 25th with Oak Tree and Rebecca Adlington following shortly after on Monday 27th. We can’t wait to welcome people through our doors again, ready to play our part in keeping the nation healthy.
