Innovation Nottinghamshire’s 5G Careers programme picked up the Discover Ashfield STEM Inspiration Award at the 2022 awards ceremony on 11th November. The award recognises work to inspire young people in science, technology, engineering and maths.  Working with students across the district at West Notts College, ATTFE College & Inspire; the 5G Careers programme sets out to raise young people’s awareness of the ways in which technology, not just 5G, is already changing the world of work they are about enter – across every sector from care to construction.
