Following on from our last “giving back to our community” sponsored event the “Foodbank Flurry” for Ollerton Food Bank at the end of March and in association with Child Safety Week 2018.
June 4-11th saw the start of Child Safety Week giving us the opportunity to promote child safety and engage with our local community service providers. It also gave us the opportunity to work in partnership with another local organisation to help support local needs. The reward for all the hard work is when recipients come back and say how well a piece of equipment or advice has, or will help keep their children and staff safe.”.
Adam and Tina Wade directors of AW Safety Management along with Matthew Harrison MD of Simply Uniform were able to make a generous donation of 110 High-vis vests for the teachers and pupils to the local primary school in Edwinstowe. These will be especially useful in the Autumn when the days are dark and gloomy to keep the staff and children safe whilst out and about in the village and beyond.
The Head Teacher was very happy considering the on-going constraints of their yearly budget and commented:
“I would just like to express my sincere thanks for your very kind supply of Hi Vis Vests for King Edwin Primary school.
The vests can be used on every library visit, various educational visits and much more.  The vests are something that our budget would not have stretched to this year and I am so grateful for your donationThanks again, your generosity is very much appreciated. Many kind regards, Andy Callaghan-Wetton“
