The D2N2 Growth Hub is launching its Peer Network programme which aims to bring together diverse cohorts of SMEs to work together collaboratively to discuss challenges, share feedback and devise practical solutions. The programme, which is being delivered locally, forms part of the Government’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the ongoing EU transition. It seeks to improve the resilience of SMEs, their capability to adapt their business models to the “new normal” and position themselves for future success, driving longer-term productivity gains.  We are really keen to ensure that Nottinghamshire businesses are afforded this opportunity to register.
The programme will bring together 23 different Peer Network groups each led by a skilled facilitator and each with a slightly different sector focus. It aims to enable businesses to discuss challenges, gain feedback and more importantly devise solutions in a collaborative, action-learning style.
To be suitable for the programme, SMEs must have:

  • Operated for at least one year
  • At least five employees
  • A turnover of at least £100,000
  • An aspiration to improve
  • Ideally has the potential to scale up or export or is exporting already.

At this stage we are working hard to promote the Peer Networks to Nottinghamshire businesses by asking potential participants to register their interest in a network in time for them to run from January – March 2021. More details can be found here.
