All businesses are facing a number of unforeseen challenges or opportunities over the coming months. To help your businesses be better equipped to move forward in the current climate, this Autumn the University of Derby are able to offer a series of ‘in-house’ Advanced Skills Programme short business courses, delivered online through short webinars. These will be specifically for you and your team at a time to suit you, fully funded through the European Social Fund.
The courses are available to any SME (Small or Medium Enterprise) based in the D2N2 Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire region who has 8 or more delegates, who have not attended one of the Advanced Skills Programme short courses previously. The delegates can either all be from your organisation or from partner or supplier companies too, as long as they are also from an SME based in Derbyshire or Nottinghamshire.
The funding for this project will conclude at the end of 2020 so all courses will need to be held before 30 November.
We have a number of business courses available such as:

Plus many more. Please contact us to discuss your business needs or visit our website here.
If you would like more information about running a course for you or your colleagues, please get in touch with Cat Walls at [email protected], 07887 469028 or email [email protected] and we can chat about the dates and times that would be most suitable. Should you need the webinars delivered in a particular format or programme we can also discuss this too.
In addition, some of the courses are available on a set date for you to sign up to, should you not have enough people to run an in-house course. If this would be of interest please let us know and we can keep in touch with you about upcoming dates and availability.
Should you like to receive any information about other ways the University can support your business through graduate placements, apprenticeships, Low Carbon grants or Knowledge Transfer initiatives please also contact [email protected].
