The Bank of England would like to invite you to our briefing ‘How the Bank of England is responding to climate change’ on Thursday 14 January 2021, from 1.00 – 2.00pm, presented by Sarah Breeden our Executive Director for UK Deposit Takers Supervision and Executive Sponsor for the Bank’s domestic and international work on Climate Change.
The briefing is for all of our Agency contacts across the UK and will summarise the action the Bank has taken so far in response to climate change and the work planned for 2021. This will include what this means for the banks and insurers we regulate and how this work could support businesses and households with climate transition. There will be an opportunity for you to ask questions.
Sarah will be joined by colleagues from our Climate Change Hub and the session will be chaired by Will Dowson, our Agent for Scotland.  Please note that this briefing is on the record.
