On Monday 17th May the hospitality industry opened it’s doors once more, and along with others, the Nation’s favourite coffee shop welcomed back the London local community to their new refurbed coffee shop.
Their revamped West Hampstead store is one of only 2 stores in the UK to feature their new look store that boasts a range of new enhanced digital features. With bold and bespoke décor and contemporary street-facing service counter and a dedicated space for remote workers.
This existing Costa Coffee store has had a complete refresh and now features more space for customers in the beautifully planned out and renewed basement. Previously used as a meeting room now offers an inviting open space to relax with your favourite blend.
The transformation completed by Midlands-based Jephson Shopfitters converted the basement and ground floor renovation in just 3 weeks from strip out to completion.
Jephsons Project Manager Andy Carter commented on the recent Costa Coffee fit outs: ‘This was a highly complex interior fit-out job due to the logistics and timescale and all the queries that come from working with a brand new scheme. Together as a team, we all worked well to deliver an excellent job for Costa. The store looks great, and we were delighted with the handover.’

Wayne Stringfellow, Sales and Marketing Director for Jephsons commented on the recent fit-out:
‘We are proud to be the shopfitters of choice for their 2 new flagship stores offering customers dedicated work zones and street facing service counter all made bespoke from our Manufacturing unit in Nottinghamshire. We’ve proudly worked with Costa for many years and delighted to support them in adapting their stores with innovative  covid operating and trading processes.
Truly delighted to have  led the interior fit-out for the first Costa Coffee in the UK to have dedicated work zones – allowing remote workers or those looking for a quiet space to think the chance to pick an individual pod to work from.
When we saw the brief for  the spaces with dividing screens, power sockets and free wi-fi we were excited to be part of such an innovative project.’

Ben Cooper Project Manager on behalf of Costa Coffee, commented on the interior fit-out completed by Jephsons Shopfitters: ‘Rolling out brand new interior design plan always brings with it challenges, and we always work towards over-delivering, and in particular, this new store coincided with step 3 of the roadmap we wanted to open the doors on time to provide Costa Coffee loyal customers a unique custom-made and safe environment. Jephsons Shopfitters delivered on-time and accommodated the complexity of this project and handed over snag free.’
