Elizabeth Orridge is a local Professional Freelance Photographer and wants to do something to make a positive impact within her local community this Christmas.
She says “This year hasn’t been a great year for anyone, as Covid19 has affected us all in some way, but there are families within our community which need our help, now more than ever.”
She is creating hampers to give to struggling families, these hampers contain food items with a long shelf life, and non-food items such as toiletries and personal hygiene items.
These hampers will be distributed by local schools, as they know which families are in need the most.
If she is inundated with items too much for the schools to handle, Elizabeth will reach out to more schools, local charities and local foodbanks.
Any donation is gratefully received, these can be purchased from a store or even see what you have at home (please check it’s in date)
Elizabeth is also accepting money donations via bank transfer, which she will use to buy items that can even out the items in the hampers.
