When Lucie Gumise got the chance to open up a new bridal business in Mansfield town centre, she quickly said I do.
Lucie, a mum of two, used to help out at a bridal shop in Queen Street, and got the taste for helping women find the perfect wedding dress.
The shop she worked in closed down but Lucie has now taken on the premises and named her business Prestige Bridal Studio, stocking a stunning range of bridal dresses to suit all tastes and budgets.
Lucie said: “I love helping people find the ideal dress for them to look stunning in on their big day. We want to deliver customer service that exceeds all expectations, and be somewhere where people feel at home but special too.
“We were so busy getting the studio ready for opening our doors, and it was all hands on deck but it all came together beautifully. We couldn’t wait for the shop sign to go up and for the doors to open.”
The shop has more than 80 gowns, a multitude of veils, tiaras, garters, bridal jewellery and bridesmaid gifts – and even has a bridal jumpsuit if people fancy something a little unconventional.
Daryl McGreade, from Mansfield Business Improvement District, (Mansfield BID) said: “It’s wonderful to see Lucie open her business in Mansfield town centre and we look forward to helping her where we can. I have no doubt that she will be a huge success.”
There is a car park right opposite the shop, and more information about the business can be found by visiting its Facebook page www.facebook.com/prestigebridalstudio, or its website www.prestigebridalstudio.com. People can also call the shop on 01623 325045.
