Elected Mayor Andrew Abrahams came to talk to guests at the Mansfield and Ashfield Breakfast meeting yesterday (25/6/2021) to share with us Mansfield District Councils new Procurement Strategy.
The aims of the strategy are:
•To provide a simple and streamlined process
•A more balanced approach to delivering social value
•To retain the Mansfield pound with local firms
•To encourage wider collaboration with the Mansfield economy.
Mansfield District Council are working with the intention that more of the local authority projects lead to local employment and training opportunities.
