Mansfield Rotary Club have been very busy looking after those in need over the length of the COVID Pandemic.
They have been donating money to a number of local charities who have seen their demand for help increase due to the impact of lockdown. Charities such as NIDAS and the Sherwood Forest Food Bank have been at the forefront of helping families negatively affected, either by a loss of income or an increase of domestic abuse within the home.
The Rotary club have also set up an emergency response which is managed by a small team who have access to modest pockets of money to help meet the essential needs of those who find themselves in a crisis, whether this be a bag of essential food items or a radio to help an isolated individual feel less alone, they have been able to respond to calls for help in a swift and timely manner.
They are now asking for some help to raise much needed funds so that they can continue to support the vulnerable in the local area. They are asking people to donate to their Just Giving page here.
If you can help, no matter how small, we are sure it will be really appreciated.
