An informal session to update you on and outline key dates for the development of the Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) for Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.

Help to shape the future of skills provision in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.

Join us on Thursday 15th December for the first of our events to create a Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) for Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. The role of LSIPs is to set out the key priorities and changes needed in a local area to make post 16 technical education or training more responsive and closely aligned to local labour market needs.

By representing employer views, the LSIP will outline the skills most needed to support local economic growth and boost productivity, and improve employability and progression for learners.

By attending our LSIP events you will help to shape actionable priorities to ensure that locally we are better equipped to meet local needs and effectively join-up with other parts of the local skills system.

Our Partnerships for Growth events will give you the opportunity to meet other employers, give you a full update on the LSIP, as well as giving you an opportunity to share your experience on accessing skills.

Tea, coffee, juice and danish pastries will be served, please ensure you include any dietry requirements when booking.
