Nottinghamshire County Council has launched a top-up voucher to help assist with the delivery of gigabit capable broadband to the county’s rural homes and businesses.
The top-up will be delivered through the government’s gigabit broadband voucher scheme in the form of a top-up to the existing rural gigabit voucher.
Nottinghamshire small and medium sized businesses will be able to claim up to £3,500 whilst residential premises will have up to £1,500 available via the top-up voucher. This means that rural businesses will have up to £7,000 available and rural residential premises will have up to £3,000 to assist in delivering digital connectivity. This top-up presents a fantastic opportunity for rural premises to improve their digital connectivity, the vouchers will be issued on a first come, first serve basis. The voucher scheme will close  on 31st March 2021.
