Mansfield Central Library is a hub for reading, culture, information, and learning seeing over 160,000 visitors each year.

We are pleased to invite you to join the Chairman of Nottinghamshire County Council to the official re-opening of our library café. Our new providers Mrs B’s is a local company, serving local 200 Degrees coffee, and employing 4 local Mansfield people in the café. The newly fitted out area on the mezzanine provides a great space to meet and enjoy great coffee, tea and a range of cake and light snacks.

The library service provided by Inspire on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council provides a whole range of activities, exhibitions, events, and courses.  Mansfield Central Library also hosts a health hub in partnership with ABL Health and a Business & IP Centre (BIPC) in partnership with the British Library. The library offers 2,000 sqm of public space, as well as a 192-seater theatre, a learning discovery room, a large studio floor and several smaller meeting and learning spaces, all for hire, and now offer catering from Mrs B’s if required.

As we celebrate the opening of the new café with coffee and cake, there will be a range of activities held during the day including visits from Robin Hood, Rhyme, Rattle & Roll with the Big Blue Bear, creative craft, and a treasure hunt! We will also be offering invited guests a tour of the building shortly after the opening.

We do hope you are able to join us.
