The session focuses on the fundamentals of camerawork, lighting and audio using your smartphone to capture professional quality videos which can then be edited and distributed. The morning is split into two sessions where we focus on the camerawork using manual exposure settings and looking at various lighting and audio options. The first part of the afternoon is running through universal editing techniques to create an edit which includes a music track, company logo, call to action etc. Leading into the final part of the afternoon where we look at distribution, discussing the various platforms and audience engagement.

The course is ran by Gary Knowles, who has been creating corporate marketing videos as Snow Elk Productions for over 11 years, and he is also a University lecturer in filmmaking, so the subject matter is second nature to him.

Recent attendee testimonial: “I have nothing but praise for the way the whole day was planned and would urge any company looking to raise their profile or to make their video content more professional to attend one of your workshops.” lan Cann | Director, My Travel Guys
Further workshops are planned for 2024.
