I wanted to update 2020 Members on progress with my Shine Fundraising, my training is going really well for this year’s “Shine Marathon Night Walk Challenge”, I have already clocked up over 150 miles this year so I am well on target for the Big Night! I have also been very busy organising my “Shine for Cazi Charity Ball” so if you fancy a great night out why not come along?
As 2020 members will recall, I am fundraising in memory of my beautiful wife and soulmate Cazi who supported Mansfield 2020 for many years. All proceeds from my Shine Walk Challenge and Shine 4 Cazi Ball will go to support Cancer Research UK in its vital ongoing research into beating Breast Cancer.
Tickets are on sale now at £48 per person for the Ball to be held on Saturday 6th October, 2018 at The Derbyshire Hotel, South Normanton, commencing at 7pm. Tickets include Welcome drinks on arrival, a 3 course meal followed by tea/coffee and mints, top class entertainment with a Live Band and DJ, Raffle and Auction. Anyone booking a table for ten people will be entered into a prize draw on the night to win £100 for their table.
I am seeking Business Sponsors and have a number of Sponsorship opportunities available, in addition, I am also seeking items for a Raffle and Auction to be held during the Ball, it would be fantastic if any 2020 Members would be willing to support me by taking up one of the Sponsorship packages available or by donating items for the Raffle and Auction.

I have a maximum capacity of 220 so I am very pleased with the response so far, I have already secured a Welcome Drink Sponsor but there are still plenty of Sponsorship opportunities available including Overall Event Sponsor @ £1,750, Live Band Sponsor @ £1,200, Programme Sponsor @ £1,200 and Table Sponsors @ £1,000 so why not take the opportunity to promote your Company by supporting the Ball.
