Your Home Care have been rated outstanding by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), following our very first inspection this year.
During their inspection, the CQC found Your Home Care to be exceptionally caring, exceptionally well-led and exceptionally responsive, and good in the areas of safety and effectiveness.
The report also highlighted that:
We’re particularly pleased to achieve this rating after our first inspection by the CQC, having recently celebrated our second anniversary as an organisation. This is a rare achievement, and we are the only homecare provider in our area to achieve outstanding on our first inspection.
This rating also makes us the only outstanding provider in the Mansfield and Ashfield area, as well as putting us in the top 4% of domiciliary care providers in England.
Your Home Care was set up with the aim of raising standards of care in our community and becoming the number one care provider in our area. This significant milestone is just the start of our journey – and we’re now challenging ourselves to maintain the exceptional standards of care and management that the CQC has recognised in us.
Needless to say, all of our staff and management team are thrilled by this achievement and what it means both for our organisation and our community.
Scott Marsh, Co-Founder, Director and Nominated Individual, said:
“Right from the very outset, we wanted to raise the bar in homecare for the people of our community. It’s extremely unlikely for a new homecare provider to be rated outstanding in their first inspection but here at Your Home Care with the dedication of our amazing team we’ve broken the mould.”
Denise Pitts, Registered Manager, added:
“I really believe in bringing Outstanding care to everyone in our community that requires our assistance. Care should not be a privilege for the wealthy and I’m so proud that we have delivered on our promise. We will continue to maintain outstanding levels of care across Nottinghamshire.”
Paul Pitchford, Co-Founder and Director, said:
“This is a proud moment for everyone at Your Home Care but the hard work starts here. Maintaining that level of care in our community and wider areas will be a test but I have no doubt our exceptional staff will rise to the challenge. Thank you to all of our lovely clients that have kept their faith in us over the past two years.”
Natalie Reed, CQC Head of Adult Social Care Inspection, commented:
“There was a strong and visible person-centred culture and staff cared for people in a way that exceeded expectations. People, relatives and health and social care professionals praised the approach of staff and commented on the positive impact they had made on people’s lives.
“The whole team deserve to be congratulated for all their hard work and commitment.”
